About

I work between the question leaders are asking and the system that has to answer it.

My role is to make a complex situation legible, define the outcome that matters and build the combination of technology, organization and operating capability required to produce it.

Portrait of Dogu Taskiran

I wrote my first game at twelve. Over more than 25 years, the work has moved through simulation and graphics, AAA games, operating systems research, immersive technology, digital twins, AI, products and organizational systems.

I have worked across Microsoft, Electronic Arts, Ubisoft and founder-led ventures, from the lower layers of technology to the leadership and operating questions around what should be built, how teams should work and what has to change for a result to become possible.

The common thread is not an industry, a title or a single technology. It is solving hard problems by moving across strategy, product, technology, operations and people without losing the real system between them.

Relevant range

Enough range to follow the problem where it actually goes.

Technical depth

Software, graphics, operating systems, real-time technology, games and the foundations beneath ambitious products.

Product and company building

Founder-led ventures, new products, technical organizations and the operating capabilities required to carry them.

Organizational change

Work at the boundary between leadership intent and the systems, decisions and workflows where that intent becomes real or gets lost.

Current focus

Using AI to produce measurable outcomes.

AI is the current frontier of my work and often a powerful part of the answer. I use it in the context of the larger system: the problem, the outcome, the data, the architecture, the tools, the workflows and the people who have to operate it.

I do this directly with leaders and teams, and through Stambol when the work needs broader product, design and engineering capacity.

What measurable outcome is your organization struggling to produce?

We can start with the problem and work backward from the result. AI may be central, one component or simply not the right tool. The point is to build whatever combination of technology, operating design and leadership is required to make the outcome real and measurable.
